Great property, spread over more than 100 acres. Good assortment of restaurants.

For us it was not a problem but rooms are not very accessible. If you have issues with walking you might not enjoy the property.

The window glass were not cleaned. lot of hand prints of kids on glass and dust on moskito net. The bath tub was not cleaned , there were lot of long hair in the tub when we tried to fill water .

Location, the pristine forest makes this a superb location to stay

The bread and cheese could have been better as could the toasting arrangement

The hot water was very tricky and varied from cold to very hot

The hot and cold water mixers, tho may be very hep but don’t work decently. Takes several minutes to set the temp. The lighting of the campus is very poor.

This is the most beautiful resort I've ever experienced in my lifetime! The Staff were amazing! The food was incredible! The view was unlike anything I've ever seen in my life. I will be back!!! This is a gem that I feel so very lucky to have visited. The rooms were so nice and roomy. 10000000% rating and I can't wait to come back!

Don't know where to start - the gorgeous 1400 square feet villa (which we got upgraded to) with the most beautiful vista in coorg, the stunning infinity pool with an even more gorgeous view of the valley, the sprawling 180 acre property with over 60,000 trees of 100s of species, the extremely courteous staff who always smile at you everywhere you go, the well cooked food in all the 3 restaurants, the coorg cusine at Neelaki, the BEST spa I have ever been to where you'll get pampered and relaxed beyond expectation. Now comes the real treat: the Tajness of this place is at its peak. NEVER have we ever had to wait for anything for long. NEVER have we ever had to ask for anything twice. EVERY call to in-room dining and guest services was extremely professionally handled every single time for the entire 3 days. EVERY call for the buggy was promptly serviced, be it from the cottage, or even when called from different spots in the property. every buggy driver was extremely courteous, kind and humble. We have stayed at multiple Taj properties all over India and I can say for sure that the staff behavior at this particular Taj is so far the best we have experienced. They are all extremely well trained in their Taj-ness. A lot more praise can be said about the property itself (the coorg conservatory, the outdoor pool and grill, the butterfly garden, the lake, the trails around the property, lavish lobby with a flabbergasting valley view, the frog pond, and my favorite - the peaceful tree covered buddha garden surrounded with the little stream of water flowing down). It's all just mesmerizingly beautiful. I choose Taj because they are the only 5 star properties which are pet friendly and this is probably the best trip my dog has had at a resort. The hospitality was simply brilliant with Guru being the super star and others like Sonu doing a very commendable job. The location is probably the best in Coorg with amazing views of the valley. The property is huge, beautiful and green as it's middle of a rainforest. The temperature controlled infinity pool with views of the vistas and jacuzzi by the side were fantastic. Loads of activities to offer like archery, table tennis, nature walks, paintball shooting, boating and many more. The only thing that wasn't up to the mark was the food for a 5 star hotel...could be improved.

Amazing Location and Beautiful property. Heated Infinity pool and the Jacuzzi is what makes this place so amazing. The views are stunning from everywhere. Taj hospitality is truly world class. Completely enjoyed our stay. I sincerely thank the staff of Taj Madikeri for making our stay - pleasant and memorable. I would in particular like to express our gratitude to Sonu for his incredible hospitality.

They had a loud corporate event going on which disturbed the ecosystem and serenity of the place. They should have been mindful of their guests who run away from their corporate lives to enjoy some peace and quiet

All in all, solid 5 stars for Taj Madikeri! Our room / villa was excellent and the service level was beyond comparison. If we visit this place again, it will be for it’s people

What could have been better? For starters, folks please call up Google and ask for a maps route correction. This is a simple thing to do. Next, Driver accommodation - given the nearest town is 10 km away with not a lot of public transport options to get there, some basic accommodation for drivers would be a huge plus.

The staff is excellent. Can't ask for more.
